Mes tableaux sont des dialogues — entre le paysage volcanique de la Martinique et les grandes villes du monde où j'ai vécu, entre les bleus profonds de la Caraïbe et les terres ocres de mon héritage africain.

Je suis née sur une île façonnée par le feu et la mer — la Martinique, où la France, l'Afrique, l'Asie et le monde amérindien se rencontrent depuis des siècles pour créer une civilisation créole unique. Cet héritage multiculturel n'est pas seulement ma biographie; il est mon médium.

My paintings are dialogues — between the volcanic landscape of Martinique and the great cities of the world I have called home, between the deep Caribbean blues and the ochre earth of my African ancestry.

I was born on an island shaped by fire and sea. This multicultural inheritance — African, Asian, European, Caribbean — is not just my biography; it is my medium. Each series I create is an investigation: in The Fallen Gods I turn to the coral reefs our civilization has brought to extinction's edge; in Yoles Rondes I celebrate traditional Martinican sailing culture; in my geometric abstracts I seek the universal language beneath cultural difference.

Painting is, for me, the most ancient and universal act of communication — it transcends language, nationality, and time.
