The landscapes paintings are compositions in which I combined memories and cultural references of my European and Caribbean heritage. I used the emotional power of color by selecting strong oranges, yellows, reds, browns and complementary blues to convey the tremendous glow and luminosity of the Caribbean and to represent in an expressive manner the visible nature.
